to prepare herbs INFUSION: Add one teaspoon of dried herb or herb mixture per cup of tea into a teapot or tea infuser. Pour a cup of boiling water in for each teaspoonful of herb. Cover and leave to steep for 10 minutes. DECOCTION: Add one teaspoonful of dried herb for each cup of water into a pot or saucepan (never use aluminum). Add appropriate amount of water to pan. Bring to boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes. If the herb is aromatic (contains volatile oils) put a lid on the pan. Strain and drink. Words
